This is a donation request for a complimentary ticket to the "Johnson for President" dinner on June 13, 1960. At the time, then-Texas Senator Johnson was running for President and was considered the primary challenger to front-runner John F. Kennedy. Johnson would later be selected as Kennedy’s running mate and would assume the Presidency upon JFK’s assassinatoin on 11-22-63.
